ABC’s new reality series, The Glass House, is the latest to link Highland Park to the genre that makes everyone look bad. HPHS alum Alex Stein stars in the Big Brother-ish program. But don’t worry Parkies, it’s not looking like a super long term thing.
Still, something tells me even if Stein gets the boot, he’ll resurface. He won’t let all the on-camera practice go to waste.
Alan Peppard tells us about Stein’s predicament while Gawker’s Rich Juzwiak points out it’s good to have someone new to hate. Juzwiak is obviously not from Highland Park.
Wait. Stein? This reminds me of something I wrote while at Park Cities People.

young alex stein comes from a very colorful, eccentric family… his grandmother used to live right by the high school in the 80s and when her various utilities were cut-off, she’d simply run cords and hoses from others’ homes… she was a hoot!
conceptually, i think the show is clever — but after seeing it last night for the first time… to many marks are being missed. (IMHO)
