It’s true. This document was generated in the United States of America where free speech was alive and well before Pamela Martin-Duarte got angry. Now she’s subpoenaed Facebook and D Magazine for the online equivalent to DNA samples.
From Facebook she has demanded:
- All documents sufficient to determine the identity of the creator of a fan/group page, Big Fans Of Big Rich Texas (BFOBRT).
- All IP addresses referring and/or relating to BFOBRT.
- All IP addresses of comments made on BFOBRT relating to Big Rich Texas and/or Duarte, and/or Dena Miller (including deleted ones).
From D Magazine she has demanded:
- All documents sufficient to determine the identity of commenter “Dr. Hamilton.” [Note: D Magazine provided this some time ago which led to Duarte's legal team adding a defendant to the suit. Must have lost it?]
- All IP addresses of comments (including deleted ones) to any D Magazine articles, blog posts, or comment which refers or relates to Big Rich Texas and/or Duarte and/or Dena Miller and/or the Dr. Hamilton comment.
Comment at your own risk.

The only reason I post under a screenname is because I don’t feel the need to have every opinion I’ve ever had come up under a google search. Frankly, having an interest in BRT drama isn’t something I want to share with the world. Otherwise, I don’t care if my information was revealed.
HOWEVER, I think Ms. Duarte has no right to this information. I hope that the service providers fight for their customers/readers/members rights -serious threatening or libelous comments are a different story.
QUESTION- Why is it Pamela has dropped and added defendants over the past months, but her law firm can’t seem to keep track of the current batch as of 6/28? It’s not like they are just referring to the original case because sometimes Miller or “Mill” is left out . . . or Terri is added . . .
If I were Merritt or Dena, I wouldn’t want to be repeatedly referred to as a defendant when I wasn’t.
@khakijack, Agreed on all points. While being called a defendant in this case isn’t ideal, it’s not as embarrassing as being called plaintiff.
It’s absolutely APPALLING this woman who I still believe has a serious personality disorder to have request, yet alone have access to personal information of the viewers for having an opinion. It goes to show the severity of her insecurities. I smell desperation. I’ll assume she is not coming back for Season 3. I believe she only wants the IP addresses of individuals to cause serious physical harm. If this information is provided I’m not sure who will show up at your door. Ignacio or Pam? Well, as far as I’m concerned my support for the show has caused legal harrassment. This may even legally be considered malicious legal harrassment.
Thank you Merritt for writing an brilliant run down on this ridiculous woman. It made my day
)))))
It’s like a hit the lottery
))) (or will soon enough)
I thought Pamela Martin Duarte was repulsive from my 1st viewing of BRT & am glad to find that others agree. She’s disturbed & delusional & I have to question the intelligence of anyone willingly associated with her………….specifically Ignacio, Melissa, Heidi (& her minions), Hannah & her friends, etc.
I love BRT but would prefer not being subjected to Pam’s brand of evil on Sunday night because it doesn’t get my week off on the right foot. She leaves an unpleasant taste in one’s mouth.
